Celebrating beginnings

A community event

In November 1899, Marion Sticht hammered the very last dog spike into the line at Regatta Point Station. 125 years later, we are still hammering in dog spikes along our line, but now we share stories rather than copper with the world.

On 1 November 2024, we mark 125 years since Marion’s historical moment. Help us celebrate by joining us for a fun re-enactment and a meet and greet with our General Manager, Ian Robertson.

When:
Friday 1 November from 8:45am for a 9:00am start

Join us onboard for a special departure of Teepookana and the King between 10:00am and 12:30pm. Local community members are offered a 50% discount onboard this journey.

All passengers will receive a small thank you gift for joining us on such a special day.

Local community members are encouraged to contact us on 6471 0100 to book with their discount.

This activity is part of our month-long celebration of 125 years since the completion of the railway line to Regatta Point Station.
